It gains importance among spiritual travelers who aim to have a holy dip in the lake, which is considered a holy place and the King of ‘Trithas’. This is not a great option for long distance travellers. However, buses from Delhi to Ajmer and further to Pushkar are easily available.
You will need to take a train to Ajmer and then take a 30-minute drive to Pushkar. The Ajmer railway station is well-connected with major Indian cities.
